I have some exciting news to share! While I’m not retiring, I have sold Janssen & Igar, CPAs, PA to Samantha (Sam) Tallyn, CPA! I will be working on taxes for some time but since I’m turning 70 this year, I have decided it’s time to reduce my hours in the office. This frees me up to spend more time in the role I so enjoy—that of Grandmother!
You may have come in contact with Sam already as she has been with Janssen & Igar for a while. A Pensacola native, she has been working with small businesses in the financial and public accounting field since 2004. Sam has worked for a large local CPA firm and also had her own company. She is very well-versed in tax preparation and QuickBooks and brings to J&I a wealth of understanding of tax law and international taxes.
More good news is that all other team members will remain on staff and the firm is staying in the same location. At J&I our policy has always been that one person prepares and one person reviews your tax returns. Even if you call and your tax preparer is unavailable, there is a professional here that is familiar with your situation:
Mindy Snyder became a CPA in 2011 while working for J&I. Previously she had earned a B.S. in mathematics and her accounting degree. Mindy has several years of QuickBooks experience, with an emphasis in personal taxes and handling of payroll issues.
